Privately Published, London 1881. Oblong 4to (290 by 385mm). One reproduction of map and fifty nine albumen prints. Very good tonal range. Maroon morocco binding. Spine split into four compartments by raised bands. gold inlay on spine and front cover. "A.P.C." inscribed on spine. Brass locking mechanism on binding. Wear has occurred to edges.

An important record of Cypriot history. Articles of Sculpture, Ceramics, Coins and Jewellery are illustrated with detailed commentary by Major Alexander Palma di Cesnola.
