Please note.

(a) Price list: This is not a catalogue of modern Cyprus coins, but a price list; my price list. It can be used as a catalogue of Modern Cyprus coinage though, as, I believe, it is very accurate.

(b) Listing: I have listed coins in the Orthodox way ( #RV001,002,003.....), the way stamps are listed, beginning with the 1879 1/4 piastre and ending with the 1957 100 mils. Post Republic coins are again listed with the 1963 1 mil coin listed as #RVR001. This is to help collectors who do not collect colonial coins.

(c) Grading: Very controversial, as grading is subjective. Fortunately, all expensive coins offered here for sale are either digitally photographed or scanned. You buy what you see; and you can be as liberal or conservative with your own grading as you please, the subject becoming only academic.

(d) Pricing: Fair, I believe, as, after Cyprus maps, Cyprus coins are currently the collectibles that fastest appreciate in value. I have long given up on calculating my "replacement cost".

(e) Buying: Collections and stocks always wanted for purchase, as long as you don't do the grading.
