(1614-1684). A young married couple in their pretty drawing room

19. A BARBER - SURGEON'S SHOP by
David Teniers. Here is a shop of the 17th. century who combined the
vocations of surgeon, chiropodist, barber and dentist who possessed
elixirs and ointments of every sort and who would tell on what date it
would be good and proper to have your nails pared or your hair
cut. In the background we see a man being lathered... on the fore
ground the Master is attending to the foot of a burgess.....

20. St. IDLEPHONSUS. TRIPTYCH ALTAR
PIECE by Pieter Rubens. The
central composition represents Mary seated on a throne, attended by four
saints, offering the chasuble to Saint Idlephonsus who prostrates
himself before her. The shutter at the right hand represents the
Archduke Albert.... at the left hand shutter we have Archduchess
Eugenia Isabella.

21. MOUNTAINOUS LANDSCAPE by
Rembrandt. The picture here represents a mountainous tract greatly
varied. In the mist of the picture flows a river, the shore of which is
covered with trees and several little houses. A sky full of light, but
partially covered with heavy gray clouds, fills the picture with an
alternate play of shadows and of light.

22. JACOB BLESSING JOSEPH'S CHILDREN
by Rembrandt. This grand canvas bears the date 1656. The great Patriarch
