| JOURNEYING Travels in Italy, Egypt, Sinai, Jerusalem, and Cyprus by Nikos Kazantzakis. Hardcover first edition with dust jacket,1975. This is a posthumously published account of his travels through the aforementioned areas from 1926-1927.It includes interviews with Mussolini and Cavafy.197 pages. This is an ex-library copy. Book has a slight hinge but I strengthened it with a glue gun. Some tape ghosting to boards and endpapers. A stamp to title page and pg 101, with a stamp to bottom edge. I removed the card from endpaper and covered most of the affected area with a bookplate. The dust jacket is fairly nice with price intact, light sunning to spine and minimal wear as it was protected by mylar. A small tear at base of spine where sticker was removed. Overall presents itself well on the shelf. A rather scarce first edition. Price: CyP. 14.00 | |
