First edition. 8 vo. 440 pp. Endpaper maps, 24 b/w photos ( taken by the author ) of which three are of Cyprus. Chapter 4 is of the author's visit to Cyprus. Good condition.  The modern travelers who take the Acts of the Apostles as his guide-book,  journey into a part of the world which once enjoyed the unity of the Roman Empire and is now divided among many nations. Where he is held up at national frontiers, to pass onwards under a different flag and among men who speak a different tongue, St. Paul moved forward over a Roman road, speaking Greek all the time.
