| 64. Bazaar at Larnaca. 1878. 21x14 cms. This engraving illustrates a bazaar located in a central narrow street in Larnaca, suitable for pedestrians and mules only. With the exception of a few laid with tiles, most of the roads were of earth and were characterized by filth and insanitary conditions especially in winter when the rain transformed these streets into muddy streams.
